Jalapao ~ Steve scratched Taj’s back. He helped Taj find a hidden immunity idol. It was found under the tree mail. It was put in Steve’s pants for less exposure.

Timbira ~ Brendan & Sierra talked about 4-alliance. She confronted him for not letting her know about 4-alliance. Brendan said he meant to tell her, but he didn’t have a chance. Sierra was glad he told her. High-Fives followed.

Reward Challenge ~ pulling the rope of the giant “thread stool” to make the contestants dizzy before they ran across the narrow balance beams to the mat. Jalapao made 3 points, so it won! Brendan was chosen to go to Exile Island again! He chose Steve since he was part of 4-alliance.

Jalapao ~ the happy winners arrived camp. A big sign read, “Charmin Cafe”. Lots of pastry, coffee, and juices were on the table! There was a new outhouse with lots of Charmin toilet paper! Even there was a sink and shower!! The happy campers feasted on pastry and drinks. What’s more - they got letters from home! They read with teary eyes.

Timbira ~ not much to eat. They wondered why Brendan chose Steve. Rain! The tribe mates had to hide under the shelter during heavy rain. Erinn complained about Coach’s attitude.

Exile Island ~ Brendan and Steve shook their hands. Brendan was excited to tell Steve about 4-alliance. Steve told Brendan that he had an idol. Brendan told him that he had an idol, too. They high-fived. Steve confided that he couldn’t trust people or put his faith in 4-alliance. He had to be careful.

Jalapao ~ Sydney said she dreamed about her boyfriend and could not be without him. Spencer said he was not in hurry and would enjoy his freedom first. Spencer confided that he didn’t tell his tribe mates that he was gay which could affected the game.

Immunity Challenge ~ Steve & Brendan were back. Lacrosse-like challenge. J.T. scored for Jalapao while he lost his tooth! Both tribes scored 4 points each, but Timbira scored 5 points, so it won immunity again.

Jalapao ~ Taj was upset and vented about the immunity losses. She wanted Spencer out. Steve said he would prefer to stay with his idol, but he said he would keep Taj cuz of 4-alliance. Spencer pleaded that he didn’t want to be voted out.

Tribal Council ~ after discussions, Spencer showed his Taj ballot. Taj showed her Spencer ballot. Jeff revealed many Spencer ballots and one Taj ballot, prompting Spencer out of game as 5th person from Survivor: Tocantins.

My Thoughts ~ I thought Steve would use the hidden immunity idol to save Taj. When Steve & Taj didn’t give up the idol, I was concerned that Taj may be voted off. I’m glad she was still in the game! Whew! I feel bad for J.T. to have broken his tooth. I hoped Timbira would lose immunity so that Coach could be voted off. Oh well.

Timbira ~ they complained about Candace’s attitude, so they got rid of her. Next day, the sleepy campers were tired. They ate some beans. Jerry didn’t feel well and didn’t want to show his weakness.

Jalapao ~ some campers were netting in the lake. No fish caught. Stephen fished and caught a good fish. They cooked the fish. They said that the fish was so good that they didn’t need the seasonings.

Reward Challenge ~ blindfolded carrying water & corn thru the maze! Joe and Debra voice-led their tribes. Jalapao finished the challenge first and won reward! They sent Brendan back to Exile Island. Brendan chose Taj again to accomply him there.

Timbira ~ Tyson & Coach vented about Debra’s poor performance at the challenge. Coach wanted Erinn out. Tyson gloated that he was Coach’s assistant.

Jalapao ~ they gloated about their win. Put the new tarp they won over their shelter.

Timbira ~ Coach whined about not caring about comfort, etc.

Exile Island ~ Taj took the urn that had some clue in it! She flirted with Brendan over the fire. They made a secret alliance! They will convince their tribe mate from own tribe to join them to make a 4-way alliance.

Jalapao ~ they got up refreshed from well-deserved sleep. They loved the new blankets they won.

Timbira ~ Jerry showed as if he were sick. He said he was not a quitter. Coach & Tyson talked whether to vote off Jerry or Erinn. Coach gloated that Tyson was his assistant coach so he would not look like a leader. Brendan looked and found a clue under the tree mail and hoped to find an individual immunity idol.

Tribal Council ~ after the discussions, Jerry showed his Erinn ballot. Erinn showed her Jerry ballot. Jeff revealed more Jerry ballots than Erinn ballot. Jerry become a third castaway ousted from Survivor: Tocantins.

My Thoughts ~ I am so disappointed that they voted off a strongest member. Jerry wouldn’t be sick for long! I hope Taj’s alliance will work out for her in the further game.

Jalapao ~ Sandy was glad & thankful that she stayed in the game. Spencer said they would vote off Sandy after Carolina. Next day they ate some fruit. They found a termite mound and knocked it out so they could eat the termites and their grubs!

Timbira ~ Jerry started fire. Brendan & Sierra talked. He agreed to help her with hidden immunity idol search. Brendan dug the hole too deep and didn’t find the idol. Debra came! They had to lie to her that they built a fire pit! They cooked rice. Ben explained to Candace how to cook rice. They got into an argument. They made up and laughed.

Jalapao ~ the tribe mates grilled Taj into giving her last name as George. They were surprised that she was married to a famous NFL player, Eddie George! JT confided that Taj’s husband was rich and she didn’t need money.

Reward & Immunity Challenge ~ wrestling & basketball under heavy rains in the lake! Jalapao managed to make 3 baskets and won!! They chose Brendan to go to Exile Island. Brendan chose Taj to go with him!

Jalapao ~ they got fishing supplies! JT put a new net into the lake to gather the fish. Steve went underwater with new goggles and couldn’t get fish. JT and Steve bonded and laughed together.

Exile Island ~ Taj & Brendan arrived the giant sand dune. There were two urns to choose. Taj picked one of them and found nothing but sand in it. Brendan picked up the other one and found a clue to a hidden immunity idol or make a tribal switch! Taj followed and grilled Brendan into showing her the clues! They bonded.

Timbira ~ rice & beans were simmering in the pot. They complained about Candace’s attitude. Brendan arrived camp from Exile Island. He lied to them by telling he got nothing and Taj got the clue! The tribe mates discussed to oust Candace and some wanted Sierra out.

Tribal Council ~ after the discussions, Candace showed her Sierra ballot. Sierra showed her Candice ballot. Jeff revealed one Sierra ballot and many Candace ballots. Candace left the game as 2nd castaway from Survivor: Tocantins.

18th Installment of the Hit Television Series Premieres in High-Definition on Thursday, Feb. 12

CBS today announced the 16 castaways who will compete on SURVIVOR: TOCANTINS THE BRAZILIAN HIGHLANDS, when the 18th installment of the Emmy Award-winning series premieres Thursday, Feb. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Left stranded in the majestic interior of Brazil for 39 days, these castaways will battle scorching temperatures, torrential downpours, and dangerous wildlife all in an effort to outwit, outplay, and outlast one another in order to win the title of Sole Survivor.

In advance of any formal introduction and before the castaways speak their first words to each other, one person from each tribe will be chosen to remain behind and will not continue with their group on the journey that lies ahead. Survivor Gabon - I hate food rewards

Posted by admin on 26/10/08 in Survivor

Wanna see how they feel? Go three days of
just eating three spoons of rice. Nothing else
except water. No juice, milk, coffee, donuts,
cigarettes, soda, or beef. Just rice and
water for three days and still go to work and
do regular chores. After two days of just
rice go play a 5 on 5 basketball game for
thirty minutes (reward challenge). See how
much energy you have the next day and
you know you only get some rice and water
to replenish. After day three go play basketball
again for 30 minutes (immunity challenge). How
do you feel on day four of just rice and water
for thee days and still having to work and
compete hard. You don’t mean to give up, fall
down or run out of energy or endurance but
you just do.

I hate food rewards. Kota has been on a picnic
while Fang has had to survive on rice.
Give blankets and supplies and when
individual immunity you can give food
and let winners choose others to share
food and stir the pot.

Survivor and Ace

Posted by admin on 25/10/08 in Survivor

After a second watch of this last week’s episode I
have decided for sure that I hate Ace. Before I just
didn’t like him.  Now I’m starting to hate him and his
smug high and mighty attitude.  But I fear they’ve
missed their chance to get rid of him.

In all fairness to them it is an uphill battle with the
winners getting food and the losers starve. There
are too many food rewards to have balanced
challenges.  Take two football teams and have
one eat three spoonfuls of rice a day for a week
and the other eat spiced fish, fruit, pastries and
coffee. The starved team will physically run out
of endurance. Lack of protein is how cults control
their flocks. The brain and body does not function
well without proper nourishment. If both tribes
were fed or both starved the results would be
even. Notice how much athletes eat to be able
o compete. See what Michael Phelps eats daily
(enough for 8 people). Of course an olympic
sprinter would be out of endurance and strength
living on 3 spoons of rice per day and burning
alot more than that in competitions.

Survivor Gabon - episode 6 recap

Posted by admin on 25/10/08 in Survivor

Fang ~ back from Tribal Council. The campers
started the fire successfully. Next day, the tribe
mates were depressed due to not enough food.
Ace pleaded with Matty not to vote him off.
They made a pact that Ace not to vote Ken
off and Matty not to vote Sugar off. Ace
promised on his mother and Matty promised
on his girlfriend.

Kota ~ the campers complained about Dan
eating too much food and didn’t divide equal
portions of food in case food ran out.

Fang ~ they talked about meal plans. They
had to pinch on rice not to waste it. Sugar
offered her hidden immunity idol to Ace.
She gave it to Ace for safekeeping. Ace
delighted in watching an elephant swimming
near the camp.

Reward Challenge ~ a heavy giant snake carried
on each tribe’s shoulders. Kota won reward.
Sugar was sent to Exile Island again (and again!)

Kota ~ they complained about sharing food
equally. They ate giant strawberries and rolls.

Exile ~ Sugar was upset to be back to Exile.
She ate fruits again. She said she felt guilty
that she ate food while her tribe mates
were starving.

Fang ~ Ace complained about Crystal. Kelly
and Crystal got into an argument. Crystal
complained about not enough food.

Kota ~ they caught a giant sea turtle!
Unfortunately, it became their meal.

Immunity Challenge ~ an abstacle course that
looked like a giant spider web. Kota beat Fang,
so Kota won another immunity.

Fang ~ they were upset about recurring losses.
Matty talked with Crystal about Ace. The hippos
were spying on them. Crystal and Ken wanted
Kelly out. Sugar admitted that she gave her
idol to Ace while she talked with Ken!

Tribal Council ~ Kelly and Crystal were bickering
at each other. Ace showed his Kelly ballot. Jeff
revealed several Kelly ballots and one Crystal
ballot. Kelly’s torch was snuffed as 6th person
from Survivor: Gabon.

Next Week ~ both tribes are going to vote
somebody out. A lot of the discussions are on
voting somebody out. Looks like there will be a
double
